2009 Guest Artist at Interlochen

For the third consuctive year Nicholas Phillips was invited to be a guest artist at the prestidigous Interlochen Arts Camp. Middle school and high school students from from around the world (more than 40 different countries are represented in a typical summer) and all 50 states. Nic participated in a week of intensive masterclass sessions in the growing Design/Production program.

This year's program sponsors include: Selecon, Vari*Lite, Strand Lighting, Apollo, and Vincent Lighting Systems

Founded in 1928, Interlochen Center for the Arts' 1,200 acre wooded campus includes dozens of performance venues, exhibition spaces and much more. During the academic year, Interlochen houses 500 Academy students in grades 9-12. Come summer, Interlochen is home to over 3,000 campers, faculty and staff and hosts dozens of nationally recognized guest artists.
