Founded in 1987, ESTA is the non-profit commercial trade association representing the North American entertainment technology industry. Over the years the Association has grown to over 600 members in the United States and Canada and around the world. ESTA’s function includes: representing the interests of our members within the industry, in allied fields and in governmental affairs; investigating and disseminating information about areas of common business concerns; advising and assisting members in the conduct of their businesses; providing services that directly reduce the costs of doing business; providing business and technical information and training; developing programs to make the industry safer and more productive; and promoting ethical business practices through our Code of Conduct.

ESTA actively promotes its members through printed and on-line Membership Directories as well as through its participation in trade shows around the world and provides an important forum for networking and information exchange.
