LD Systems and Nic Phillips announce Backstage at Rodeo Houston featuring Pat Green on Friday, March 22^nd, 2008

LD Systems, with Houston based designer Nicholas Phillips, invites all attendees of the 2008 USITT Conference and StageExpo to a very special, one night only event: Backstage at Rodeo Houston featuring Pat Green . The Houston Livestock show and Rodeo is the worlds largest andis an impressive 3-week production with 20 major concert acts, the Astrodome turned club, and numerous exhibition and entertainment venues. LD Systems is charged with this annual task and this year has created a unique opportunityfor production students and professionals to see how they coordinate, design,and execute this huge event.

Participantswill travel as a group to Reliant Park where they will be treated to a western buffet dinner from 6-8pm in the South Terrace VIP Section. From there they canenjoy the best view of the rodeo competition and concert featuring country starPat Green. Following the concert all will have the opportunity to meet anddiscuss all aspects of the show with LD Systems’ key personnel “on the dirt”. From there guests can choose to join the party at the legendary Astrodome whichhas been converted to the world’s largest club, The Hideout, just for RodeoHouston.

The cost for Backstage at Rodeo Houston featuring Pat Green is $80 and includes MetroRail transportation, the western buffet dinner,the rodeo competition, Pat Green concert, tour and talkback, and access to TheHideout. Attendance is limited to just 45 attendees. Payment is limited to cash or check since we are just passing on the cost of the ticket (no markup).
